Finding the amazing one-off hand dyed fabric produced by Esther by way of the The African Fabric Shop changed my approach to the making of my textile pieces.

From this point I have made a point of finding Maggie Relph's stall at any shows I've been to. Many subsequent pieces have been inspired by or incorporated these one off fabrics.
