Landscape surrounds us
I am very aware of the landscape that surrounds us. Its variety, colour, texture and impact on the sky. From the domestic and flat to hostile and mountainous its land forms and flora seem infinitely variable. Among the places which hold deep resonance is Sri Lanka. We were amazed and fascinated by the long history of it's people and their beliefs, marveling at temples, statues and decorative arts in the Cultural Triangle and then enjoying the freer coastal area with whales, fishing and abundant wildlife.
